I made this self portrait around the concept of freedom of speech in the mexican government . Sometimes it´s hard to raise your voice but it´s never impossible.

..the "safety-pin" was open but I just didn´t get it.

Acrylic on canvas
200 x 200 cms.

ouch :O

it looks like a photo from far away :D well done
thats a beautiful painting.!!
quite grose - but i cant seem to look away

i really like your use of colour
whats the medium?
Hi. Yes I agree, itīs kind of grose but I really wanted to share this kind of "self-repression" feeling. The media is acrilic and the size of the canvas is 2 by 2 mts, so you can imagine, the grose feeling becomes louder in this proportion. thanks for the watch =)

that certainly is graphic but the color and shading is exquisite :tux:

Thanx, guess the image is kind of explicit but the feeling at that time was not less painful. Have a nice day =)

So very beautiful. The colors, the subject matter, the proportions this is like a fresh breath of air to see. I was wondering what the dimensions are and did you use oil?
Stunning composition. Excellent form and highlights. The colors are fantastic. Grotesque and gorgeous.

Hey! Thanx. The canvas is 2 by 2 mts. so kind of big format. In this case the media is acrylic but i usually prefer oil or encaustic =)
